boat AND trailer? If so, how’d it turn out and any suggestions? Thanks!

I could see maybe using it on the paint on the trailer, but definitely not on the gelcoat. Much better stuff for that.

A wool pad and 3000 grit compound will clean your boats surface much better.

Ive used clay bars on my gel coat and trailer with good results. Back of the boat by transom gets pretty bad from all the air turbulence when towing down the highway. Just like my truck tailgate and roof are the nastiest when claying

Clay bar will work. Clay bar will not correct any defects or remove any scratches. Clay bar will remove any contaminants that are embedded in the finish, and leave a smooth finish.
