    What transom material in a 1994 201

Hey fellas my question is is there a way to know what material my transom is made out of? I read that around 1994 champion went to using balsa wood and some type glass or composite it started with a K cant remember exactly. Anyone that has any info I'd appreciate it.

Chuck was building a very few boats using the "liner" design. VERY FEW...
It used Klegecell, the material you're asking about.
It had some pluses and one huge minus.
It made a very rigid hull, rode better, it was quieter and a couple mph faster. But...if you poked a hole in it, it was virtually repairable. So that concept was dropped.
There might be twenty total boats built that way, with maybe half of those sold to the public.
