Best place to get forward and reverse pinion gears?

Anyone know of a good place to get reasonably priced forward and reverse pinion gears for a 1990 Yamaha Pro V 150?

I was just about to answer when I read the words "reasonably priced".

Reasonably being in the eye of the beholder, here is a link to some non-OEM gears:

I just had to replace my forward gear and all bearings in my HPDI 250. What I found is "reasonably priced" and lower unit gears is a oxymoron. Forward gear alone was $432.00.

For your motor, you may be able to find a salvage unit or a gear set.

Do you have a part number for the gears? I may have a lower unit. I just bought a marine out of there used parts. I can not find part numbers on my lower units.

FYI Might give a call to hydro -tec they are in process of making their own gears I don't know if it will fit the pro-v or not...I heard 1.75 ratio and 1.62 are coming and not quite sure where they are at with the development but they were to do some testing on the gears a few weeks ago

Hi performance parts or a Yamaha power head visit
