    Best option for transducer when on plane - Axiom RV 12

    Hi,

    Running a fiberglass deep-V multispecies boat with Axiom RV 12's bow and console. RV transducer on the transom, but loses bottom when on plane.

    What is the best option for a decent 2D signal when on plane? Two options I've seen are a CPT-100 on the transom and a P79 shoot-thru-hull.

    Thoughts and advice?
