    Starting battery for OX66

Looking for a starting battery to power 225 ox66 and 3 HBs for tournament days. Any thoughts on this battery?

I've seen that one but this one is a bit cheaper. Any thoughts on the one I posted?

The battery Mike listed is one of the best for the money, same battery I listed for you Made by east penn/Deka just under a different label. Your next step up again is the Trojan battery. You should be able to find them in the 175 range. The 30XHS is the same battery as the SCS225. CJ

Here is a tip for you, look at the battery weight. The one you are looking at is 56lbs, the one Mike and I recommended is 61 lbs. The one I use and recommended is 67 lbs. It is a deep cycle but can still be used as a cranking battery with over 800CCA at 32 deg. Now remember the cases are the same size, so the weight difference is what is in the case and that is lead. The more lead and better design = a better battery. I build off grid systems and the Trojan batteries have always been = to or better than their ratings and when my customers pay 4k+ for batteries they will let me know if there is a issue. So far the Trojan and East penn/Deka batteries have been great. Just a FYI. Like I said in our PM's you get what you pay for! CJ

Thanks CJ. I understand you get what you pay for but right now I don't have the extra cash, and have a tournament this weekend. So I went what what I thought was the best for my budget and got the Duracell I linked above. Hopefully it'll work for what I need. And I'll save up my pennies for a better battery in the future.
