Hole shot is good, but I am getting only 60mph and my analog rpms r over 6000 based on the analog tachometer.
I am thinking I need a 25p Fury or higher. Any suggestions?
my tacho was faulty right out of the box on a 2018 TRX, make sure it’s set to 5 on the back of the tacho. My opinion you should’ve using a 25 tempest with approx 2.5 to 2.75 ptp and be cracking 70 mph at wot trimmed out

    2018 18TRX 175ProXS Optimax 23P Tempest. Prop to Pad 4".

Fully loaded with just me, 61MPH at 6000 RPM. Although, as I'm building up speed for WOT I'm feeling a quick "jerk" or pull in the steering wheel and the back of the boat feels like it slides a bit. Not sure if the prop is coming up too far or what. Water Pressure is good according to Vessel View, smooth conditions. Once I get to WOT it seems fine on straight away. Any one else experience this?

2018 20 TrX, 250 Pro XS 2 stroke, 25 Fury 3, 3” below pad 77.3 mph with me (255 lbs), all my stuff and 1/2 tank of gas. I’m pleasantly surprised as I didn’t expect it to be this good.

My 18XS does the same rear slide. I don't even sweat it anymore after almost 5 years.

You should be getting better than 61 MPH. I've done 61.2 in mine with a 150.

2019 Triton 18TRX, 2019 Mercury 200 ProXS 4-stroke. 72mph at 5200rpm for a brief minute alone with between 1/2 and 3/4 fuel. Slight chop heading into the wind. I am more of a 60-65 mph comfort zone driver at this point. Love the boat though. First Triton and definitely not my last.

I have a 2016 Triton elite with 250XS, 25P Fury, 6' jack plate, with 2 people 1/2 tank gas and light tackle best i can do is 67 @5800rpm. I feel like it should have more but don't know where to look, tried a 26p tempest and it took me to 65. I had better luck with the trophy 25p 4 blade @ 67. Any suggestion on where to look?

I have a speed questions. I have a 2011 21-HP and with a load I can't get over 65.5 MPH. Running a 2011 Merc 250 Pro XS, 26 fury, stock jack plate, and at that speed I'm running around 5600 RPMs, maybe a hair over, 2 people around 450 pounds, little over half tank of gas, loaded with gear. Seems really slow compared to others. Any thoughts or ideas?

Sounds like you are overpropped. That motor wants to run at 6100 rpm. Check your prop to pad height and maybe go down in pitch on prop. SHould be going faster than that.
