    That is abosolutely smokin for that rig. I used to own the identical setup and 73 was the best I could get with that small of a prop....Good job on the setup...SMG

    A little bit late on the post but,,,

    03 TR-21 BMClassic
    03 Yamaha 250 VMAX
    High Lift Jacking Plate, manual
    27" Tempest Plus

    Full tank of gas, both livewells filled and passenger, GPS 76.5 MPH
    1/4 tank of gas, no water in livewells or passenger, GPS 83 MPH

    Haven't had the prop worked on, except for polishing etc..

    wow i have a 175 opti on the same boat only getting 66-67 on gps w/25 tempest plug maybe i don t know how to drive it yet good job

    You know i have had alot of people say that! I don't know what the deal with it is? I have had alot of people tell me that there is no way it can run that fast but when they get in it or try to run me they find out real quick. I guess the guy that had it before me either did some mods that i don't know about or i just got lucky and got a jewel! I tell you what though when you get past the chine walk it will flat out fly! It is almost scary sometimes!

    04 Tr-21DCX 04 250XS Merc. 27 bogerized Tempest Plus...8" Detwiler--top speed 81.9.....will run 79-80 anytime.....full load two guys...78 mph.....I love it!!!

    5600-5800 rpm(will bump the limiter with light load)
    76.8mph myself, 1/2 tank of gas, full gear best I have seen.
    Will run 72-74 all the time with 2 guys tournament loaded livewells full.

    i had it to 75 thursday.me and all my crap and 1/4 tank of fuel.weather was about 75 degrees.

    Hit 64.1 gps several times the first few months I had it, now can only muster up 62.1. I have some prop damage so that could be the reason.

    2002 Tr 19 DC 200Merc EFI Running a 26 Turbo Lightning prop best I got was myself full tank of gas all equipment was 68.6 mph. Two people with full tank all fishing gear 64.8 mph.

    Seem to be some great numbers guys. I would sure love to have some more information on motor height in relation to the pad, I have a friend that has a 21 Tr21x with a 225 opti. He can only get around 68GPS out of it with a 26 Tempest.
