    Power Pole Mounting Height

    I have a 2017 Legend V20 with 8' PP's. Mine are mounted to a Slidemaster manual plate. I pulled mine all the way up as high as they would go before tightening the bolts to the jackplate. So I have approx 4-6 inches that I can lower them with the normal way they adjust. My question is how you decide where to adjust. If I lower then I can get another 4-6 inches of anchoring but I am affraid they may be in the water when running. Is this a trial and error type of thing?

    Mine are mounted as high as possible and will still splash water on the back deck when coming off plane

    Mine are half way and have no problems while running, and only have the normal splash when coming off plane.
