    Taylorsville

How is it fishing? It has been years since I have been there, my dads PB came from there and I have been thinking about making a return visit.

I only fish the lake in the late fall, early winter. Besides that I only go there to run the boat if I am having an issue. There are some guys who do well there but I dont know any, lol.

    Actually, the total opposite...

I'd rather fish out of my toilet than go to Tville....

Taylorsville is a good lake certain times of the year. It's always tough this time a year. Tournament results haven't been great in the last 2 months.

For the amount of fishing pressure and boat disturbance the lake receives, the lake is pretty solid. I always enjoyed the challenge of figuring them out when I lived in Louisville.

Best recommendation for the OP is to do some off the wall stuff that no one else is doing. It always worked well for me and I could run around the lake targeting untapped fish.

Yup I agree. I know people who say they do well but I'm not one of them. And no way would I go during ski boat season.

I would even go to the ohio river over tville. At least there I can run to party cove and maybe see some taat taas

You can't go by what everyone else says. Tville would be better than driving to ky lake. And I know I can get a better bag on tville than Barkley and ky.

Exactly! It's fishing, anything can happen. Plus they aren't jumping in the boat at any lake right now. Tville is always good for a good number of bites per trip in my experience.

I'd rather go to KY/Barkley than Tville any day!

(I won't be wasting my time at either one of those lakes ever again though... )

You're not that far from Patoka. I'd much rather go there than Tville.

I have more confidence in the little quarry on Patoka than entire Tville lake...

    Good luck wherever you go.

Ain’t been to Tville in many years but back in the late 80s early 90s it was a blast.
