My ranger is running about 47-48 with 19-k 13 1/8 stainless prop. around 6100rpm

Did you put the extra cleat on the bow of the boat? That is a good idea. I use those bungee type lines with a poop on either end and that may help sometimes if the cleats on the dock are spaced farther apart.

The previous owner, (okhawg) actually put it on there. It definitely comes in handy. Especially when launching solo.
