On my 03 Cougar with a 225 Opti, a 25p Tempest Plus was by far the best prop.

Low to mid 70s, good hole shot.

I run a 26 tempest. I’ve had a 26 trophy slow hole shot no and didn’t have that much a!! To load it on the trailer but would run around 72-73. I ran a 25 fury that was decent hole shot would run 74-75 and hit the rev limiter in the early spring late fall. I just didn’t care for the prop in the heavy waves. It would loose grip every once and awhile. My 26 tempest runs around 70-73 in the summer here. Only can turn 5500 rpms with it about 70-72 in the high heat and humidity. Spring would run 73-75 at times. I believe the 25 tempest or 25 fury worked by Ronnie is the best setup. I’m going to try a 26 Bravo shortly and will post the results.

What prop to pad height are you all running them at. I haven't even checked mine yet to see where it's set at.
And mine has a 6" jackplate
But I also have 2" spacers I could put on. Are they worth putting on or just leave it at 6"?

The trophy ran the highest at 2.75” the Tempest and fury are between 3.25-3.5”s. You have to be careful with the Fury. When raising it you might gain rpm but it really easy to slip it.
