    Gray Hull

Hey guys. I am about to order a Phoenix and was wondering if any of you have gray hulls on your bird and what's your thoughts on them? Are they hard to clean and do they show everything? I know black is bad to show dirt lines and scratches. Just looking for some input. Thanks

I have a gray hull on my 2012. my previous boat had a black hull and the gray is much easier to keep clean.

I have had gray hulls on last 3 boats. The black looks good when its new. I almost opted for black on my new bird. Glad I stayed with the gray.

Mine is black. If I had a choice it would be gray.

I have gray. I really like the look. Only other color I'd go with is white personally.

I have what I think is called the dark gray; at least that was the term in 2014. It is not dark just gray. The regular gray must be more like white. I have problems posting pics on this site. Happy to email some if you PM me.

The dark gray has been a great choice. Shows stratches a bit more then my white hulls but nothing like a black. Dirt does not show much.

The lighter gray is what I want on next boat. White is good until scratches get dirt in them. It's hard to clean out.

I don't have a bird but I do have a gray boot on my hull. I always thought I would want black because I love the looks overall with colors that I like. But I will say the gray is much easier to keep looking good and it has grown on me quite a bit. I just may plan around that color again when the time comes for a new one.

same as my dark gray 2014. not dark at all. Just gray. I can't see the lite gray on the prior post to see how much lighter it is.

by the way, I went from white to grey because I fished out of a darker color tin boat for years in parallel to my white bottom ranger. I felt I got more bites right under the boat with the tin boat then I did the ranger. In practice, most fish I catch are hooked 15 ft to 50 ft from the boat so not an issue. But, I do believe more natural colors good. One day I was in 3ft of water and bass were busting shad 1 foot in front of my nose. they were super hungary or did not notice my gray bottom boat

The gray hull is sharp with certain color scheme's. Your boat looks great with it. I didn't even consider this, it was an over site on my part.

I had a gray hull on my last boat. It was nice and easy to keep clean.. Black looks the best and is what I have now. You can’t find a scratch on it however I do not load on carpet.
