    Carpet

Has anyone recarpeted a triton? I have a tr-185 and am wondering how difficult it is to recarpet a boat?

I did mine last winter. If you are handy and somewhat mechanical you should be able to handle it. The clean up is the most difficult and time consuming part of the process. Use the 24 oz carpet and you will have a good finished product.

The hardest part is removing all the old glue and carpet. Just remember to run all the lids and carpet the same way, because the carpet has a grain or nap.
