    Bullet 21ss, 300r Set Up/Prop Question

Getting close to receiving my 300r. Looking for recs on initial prop. A friend is running a 30 promax with the 250r, thinking I'll need a little more prop.

Boat is set up to fish, 4 batts, 2 poles, lots of gas.

Thinking 31.5 Bravo or 32 Pro max for starters.

    Yes sir.

Looking at the Bravo FS 32. Once I get some numbers, I'll send to Mark for tweaking...

    If loaded to run 90, I'd get the 28 Bravo1, 95 the 30, 100 you need the 32P

They are ok, But seem to have more blade failures. They run stiff in pitch and you need to drop down 1-2 inchs. They also cost a bunch more. I have run and owned many.

What is the (x) notation? I'm not familiar with that.

Would love to see your rig sometime.

I live near Cottage Hill and Hillcrest.

My last go fast rig was an Allison XB 2003 with 225 ProMax.

Gonna need some pretty good slip numbers to hit 90 with a 28 Bravo.

    Actually... No... 10% slip is 90mph... 12% is 88mph

I would start with a 30 promax. If you ran it to the 6400 limiter at 12% slip that's 91mph. The smallest prop I would try with those gears would be a 30p Bravo.
