Shoppers make the company's compete with each other. Its common sense to shop around to get the best deal for your money. Its doesn't matter if the company's say they are not competing with the other companies. All of them are vying for a share of the market. So they are competing.

What makes you know you're getting "the best deal for your money"?

There's no way to be sure. I guess it's just what you feel comfortable with.

So there's a chance the 2080 is a better deal for your money than the x21?

Not for me. But that's me. The 250 alone makes it a better deal for me.

I am not in the market for a tin boat, I will say this, that Vexus is by far the best looking tin rig I have ever seen, if the quality is what I think it is then it would be a no brainer for me to buy one, but I am not in the market, come on glass rigs !!

Boy they are darned snazzy tin boats, but WOW @ $56,942 for one. Mama Mia!

Can buy a lot of nice 2015~2017 glass boats (that still have warranty) for that much.

56 if you load every one of the best options possible. Glass price for a base model with lesser upgrades. All depends on how they are rigged

Exactly... about 14K MSRP less my rigged Triton with the same options except the motor...

You also get a boat 4" shorter and 5" narrower than a 1980. That is a much different boat than Vexus is offering, if you option the 1980 with the same options as the Bass Cat you will be under 40K. I looked at both, the Classic was very narrow compared to the 1980.

5” is VERY narrower. The Classic is 90” in the front of the boat where it counts. Unless you fish from the back of the boat.

I’ll go away now. Isn’t really a fair comparison since one is full fiberglass and the other has some.

Looking forward to Vexus’ fiberglass line of boats.

Yeah they wouldn’t even put the gel in the mold for 40,000 for mine. I have a Caracal. The 1980 Vexus will have more bow space than a Classic.

Not the pricing i see in a classic up north, it's north of 40 easily once it's rigged out. Hard to compare tin to glass, personally wasn't a huge fan of the classic in person. Beam forward design is nice though, wish more companies would catch into that. Front deck on the classic at the trolling motor is more spacious than the vexus. That being said tough to find a dealer up here with a 150 on a classic

Just basic Carbon 9's on it and almost 57K came pretty quick. Yikes!

Makes me think the glass boats are going to be in Ranger territory.

Im sure of that as well. Similar pricing but improved design and quality would be my guess.

    $56,980 on my 2080 build. That’s loaded ... 200 V8 Merc, (2) 12’ Carbons, (2) 8’ blades, ulterex, and aluminum upgrade on the trailer.

Tried to match them as closely as possible, Nitro Z-19 and a Vexus 1980, the Nitro was approx $4k more ($45,110 vs $41,209), both minus dealer, del and prep fees...

Just did this out of curiousity, when the time comes there will be a new Vexus in my garage....
