Warrior River and Blue Back Herrings
Been working with a fisheries biologist on Smith lake and the Warrior river on how the blue backs have passed through the dam and have just exploded all over the river due to the river not being as deep intern has the largemouth really gorging there selfs and getting huge and will do the spots the same way but the largemouth will be more prevalent due not being as deep the herring can't run down deep enough to get away with out harming the large mouth and if you have seen the number of 9 to 10 lb plus fish weighted in the last couple of years and the 25 lb plus stringers being brought in kind of explains it all cuz I have fished there for years and have never seen neither the size or the stringers going on rite now.

I haven't heard bout the blue backs getting into warrior.. I do know that it has been awesome fishing this year!
