18 explorer HP and Stratos 285xl opinions

Hi guys
Chasing feedback on these two boats, i like the triton boats but not to familiar with stratos.

2011 Stratos 285xl with mercury 150 pro xs with approx 135hrs, single console, basic lowrance sounders, $18,700, 4.5hrs away

2011 Triton 18 Explorer with mercury 150 optimax with approx 120hrs, duel console, basic humminbird sounders, $19,000, 12.5hrs away.

Not sure if either has jackplate or hotfoot but carpet/seats all in excellent condition

I have a 2008 Stratos 285 and have been very satisfied with it, it rides good and fishes good, I prefer a single console, gives you more room for a 18' boat.

measure that stratos,i think they are closer to 19 foot boat,wider and great layout,you might do some research on a explorer line up,i think they are different top cap than a like a trx 185 model,i think you would like the stratos better

I would go with the Stratos. I prefer the single console on a boat that size, and the Pro XS over the regular Opti.

I have a 2005 Stratos 285 XL Pro. Very satisfied with it with today’s boat prices makes it even more satisfying

Had a 2011 stratos but with a Yamaha. Was a great boat, only boat I owned that truly didn’t have an issue. Wish Stratos was still around because I’d be in one again quick

I currently own a 2010 Triton 18 explorer HP. I have also owned Stratos. I cannot honestly say that I have a complaint with either.
