    Latest , greatest , fishing reel........$799.99

In the September/October issue of Bassmaster , on page 4 under random product we love , a Daiwa reel is shown , with a glowing review I might add , for $799.99...………….Does anyone actually pay that much for a reel ?Certainly not for the average angler.

I know right . Although I'm getting ready to buy a Stella for my new NRX. Just got the wife an Aldebaran MGL and NRX for her birthday but that's a couple of weeks away so its hiding at the office although she'll probably get it soon.

Started her with a 33 and once she got the hang got the basics down it was Chronarch B on a Falcon Cara. She's a Shimano Cara or nothing, I've bought her a couple other brand rods but never impressed. I figured if I'm going to get her a Loomis then get a good one, if she dosen't like it over a Cara then I'm through experimenting. She's got Chronarch D, Ci4, Curado E, Curado 70, Calais, Met MGL, etc. time to spoil her. Next for me is the Bantam MGL.

Very nice! Sounds like she knows good equipment, she will love the new rig! My better half uses NRX spin stuff...I load up some 20lb braid on it and she snatches 3lbers out of the grass at Rayburn.

Maybe if i had 1 reel only. But i have 18 revos in my boat at any given time. 800 x 18= 14,400 in reels alone...

Sad but true! It insane with how much things cost these days! I guess I’ll stick with my paid off boat and truck till they die! Dang sure don’t want a 80,000 $ bassboat or truck payment
