    Ram trucks

Anyone had any regrets going with a Ram 1500 with gas 5.7 Hemi? Drove Chevrolet & GMC for years. The looks of the Ram has grown on me & was impressed after test driving one!!!

Do they rust apart before your eyes like the old models? I am also considering one.

Mine started rusting last year, it is a 2008 that sat outside all of its life. Rust isn't too bad yet, but starting to get to be a issue.

I will be 63 years old oct. 18 and have owned nothing but ford and chevy cars and trucks till 2016. I test drove all 3 and tried to deal with all 3 and I went with the ram quad cab, 4x4, 5.7 hemi and love it after 35,000 miles. Great ride, looks great and mileage with the 8 speed tranny is very good. Don't be afraid as it was a big change for me and I do not regret it.

They aren't the old dodge anymore, the interior design and look is best 1/2 ton out there IMO

Mine has quarter panels on the inside of the wheel well. Will never own a truck without them.. It's lived in OH,RI, Va, MA, MD. Just now starting to get frame surface rust after 9 years.. 05, 95k. 5.7 has been a beast but can't pass a gas station.

I’ve heard more positive than negative reviews in the past few years. Just wanted a few more thoughts from people pulling boats. Thanks!!!!

My wife tows our boat with hers while I pull the camper. The truck pulls great and rides very well unloaded. Ram makes a nice truck despite what some people say.

2004 Ram 1500. Traded in 2014 w/ 135k miles. No rust (except from a paint chip on the door). Now I have the 2014 with 123k on it.
Will not own another brand (until one of them can beat the RAM)

Started with a 2001 Dodge Dakota quad cab 6 cylinder. Never a problem with rust, 218K miles and the tranny started to go. Went with the Ram 1500 quad and love it. Do love my dodge trucks.

I've had my 2017 1500 2 wd quad cab 5.7 Hemi since Thanksgiving and love it. First Ram I've owned. I get 20+ mpg normal driving. I have the SLT so it's not the top of the line model but is is incredibly smooth and quiet. I've owned Fords, 1 Chevy (never again) Toyota, and a real POS Nissan Titan. (another never again).

Wife has a nice Toyota Highlander which is a nice vehicle, but my Ram is smoother and more quiet then her Highlander.

I’ve got a ‘14 that I wouldn’t trade for anything other than another ram
