I'm building a new spray and pour booth from a Thermador PH48HS

I'm needing something bigger... This should do. Halogen lights and 1000cfms.

I would get me a old forced air furnace and use that blower, and go from there. Halogen lights are hot, LED would be better.
    Just my 2 cents.

This fan is super quiet and moves more air. I have been looking for LED equivelent bulbs.

Mike, I'm not sure what you are spraying or pouring... But I don't think this is considered a hood that is ok for "hazardous locations". Meaning, if you are spraying flammable paints or venting flammable fumes, it may not react to well if the motor/blower is not totally enclosed or certified for such venting. Make sure the blower is the right type.

The hood looks awesome, but if spraying, it is going to get a coating on it that won't be easy to clean compared to cooking oil/grease splatter. Not sure if you are going to like the "Clean Filter" reminder after 40 hrs of operation? And Halogen (if they are halogen) lights can get hot, not a good mix with spray paint if it gets on the lenses.

I work in the ventilation industry, so that is why I mention it.... Just a heads up...

Thanks... I dont spray anything flamable. Moving large volumes of air wont let enough to collect and become hazardous. In the booth I have now with 600 cfms, There is no trouble with paint getting on my lights. I don't care about paint etc getting on the SS inside the booth. I plan on using a material over the SS filters to keep the cleaning easy. Just remove and discard.

The lights are 40W G4 halogen... I'm wondering if they are 12V or 110V... I cant read the small print on the bulbs. All of the G4 LED bulbs I have found are 12V.

You can spray about 6mil of "Masking Liquid H2O" on the inside unit. Its a peel away material, something like the kick plate covering you have to remove for door plates. A lot better than alcohol or reducers cleaning later. Its mainly used for covering glass while painting.

I'm a drywall finisher and have many painter friends that use that product. I'm not concerned with paint collecting inside the booth.
