Lock to Charleston

Anyone know how long it takes to get from locks to Charleston. We will be in a pontoon that will run about 25. Also is there gas available along the way.

Once you lock through from the lake into the river the only gas is right there at the marina in Moncks Corner before you get to Gilligans restaurant. There’s nothing from there on down until you get into Charleston. Not sure what your run time will be but I used to make that run all the time in a jon boat with a 40hp and a 9 gallon tank when I was in high school.

You going with or against the tide? Make a major difference in both amount of gas and time. If you run with the tide... it's a pretty easy trip.
