Decent rain in Abilene today. We are saturated but very little runoff. A good 4 to 5 inches tonight would really put some water in the lakes around here. I have had about 3" since last Friday. Not near enough!

Stompy, did you get your rain yesterday?

I stopped at Sandy Creek Marina yesterday after fishing HC,and around 2:00 it was raining so hard that you could'nt see across the lake. Heck..... I drove through heavy rain all the way back to Abilene.

Got 2/10" here last night. Makes 2.3" for the week which is more than the last 2 months combined. Lake is over 4' low. Doubt if there's a usable ramp on the lake.

I had 4” Thursday-Saturday. We had over 8” 40 miles west where I hunt. Wish we had got some food plots in before the rain. All the tanks were running over.

I see Oak Creek is up a little over 5', Ivie is up about a foot, Stamford 2', Miller Creek over 5' & over full pool. The rest, less than a foot, butrising.

I would be, if I could get my boat off the lift. Haven't gotten it in the water since 4th of July. We've only gotten 2.5" in all this but that's almost as much as June, July and August combined.

Ended up with 2.35" for the week. Most of the heavy rain was all around but not here.

Been raining across Tex for a few days, but lake levels haven't moved too much. Guess it's just dropping mainly in non feeder areas.

I don't want to jinx it, but that may change in a few days.
