Has the water come up enough. Thinking of going this evening.

I was at Chase State Fishing Lake yesterday September 11. The lake is STILL low! Despite heavy rains in other parts of the state, Chase remains quite low.

I launched a 20 foot flat bottom with no issues. The end of the ramp is roughly even with the end of the courtesy dock. The KDWPT Public Lands Manager has added rock (from the large rock pile in the parking lot) to the end of the ramp to address any sharp drop off at the end of the ramp. The slope is VERY gradual (i.e. FLAT!) after the ramp runs out so bigger, deeper boats could still have issues.

Here's a couple of pics taken yesterday.

Hey thanks. Pretty disappointing would of thought the lake would have came up more. That’s a fun little lake to fish.

Just got my boat back to and wanted to go there. Ended up going to Marion and making some laps breaking in the new powerhead.

Not bad at all considering the lake level increase. A little "off" of what is normally seen at Chase, but certainly fishable.

I actually went out there Saturday. Caught a solid 5 pounder and one around 3.5. And a few smaller ones. Water looked good.
