Looking to add step/storage box

I run a 97 201PE. I pulled the middle seat and am looking to add a step/storage unit in its place. Any ideas?

Bassboatseats.com, C&O and I think even Basscat now sells them. you'll have to look at those and find what will fit between your seats.

How did you mount it? I am worried about running screws into the gas tank

I put the box from Bassboatseats.com in my Triton Tr186. I used 2" Velcro to mount it. Works really well.

gas tank is in rear on my model stratos. I used stainless steel screws and put some silicone around them. I also thought about using Velcro and believe it will work fine.

I have a "97 201 and put the step up storage box from Bassboatseats.com between the bucket seats. I have the L-shaped gas tank. You have 2" inches of clearance under the bench, use 1 1/2 in. stainless screws with no problems.
