    Low water pressure help

I recently swapped out my m2 lower on my 08 250ho etec to a older gen standard lower with a Bob's nose on it. Pressure went from 25+ at wot to 14 with the new foot and now I'm getting overheats. Gear case man doesn't think it's the foot so I'm wondering why this could be happening?

I believe the impeller was swapped from the old lower to the new one but not the whole kit.

Yes, it has been converted to a low water pick up with returns on the left and right side of the lower and the originals blocked off.

I take it that the additional hose didn't improve your pressure....? What does Bob think about modifying the intake area ?

No the extra hose did nothing for the water pressure. I haven't talked to Bob's yet, I was waiting to hear back from a different tech up by me.

Bobs would probably be the best source of info/guidance.....

Another possibility would be damage to the water intake tube due to the case having been removed and reinstalled several times. (ie bending or kinking) the tube. This is a common occurrence.
