I've fished it a few times, but probably won't this year. Hard to get excited fishing the river when I have an awesome lake 20m from my house.

This tournament goes out of Albany Ill in pool 14. Many boats will be locking up to pool 13. I think they have set up a lock time for the blast off.

Yup. Wife and I have caught probably 30 fish over 5lbs this summer. The place rocks.

Looks like the tournament this weekend has been postponed due to the river being Jacked up. And they are monitoring the river to see if the main event is going to be safe enough to run.

They've been discussing combining the 2 tournaments next week. Doubt that will happen.

Got roped into fishing this on Sunday....We will see how it goes, I'm sure it will be won out of Spring Lake, just like every year.

I wouldn't be so sure about spring lake being the winner. Fishing has been tough in there most of the summer and with the cooler temps this weekend I would expect a slow bite until the water warms up in which case it doesn't leave much time for catching. Had Anglers Choice last weekend and we did catch our 5.15lb kicker there, but otherwise found it to be pretty slow.
