An hour
I go in at day break most mornings. If I have to use my ATV to get to a stand, then add 30 min.
I like to get in about 30 minutes before official sunrise time.
2 hours
I do not hunt much anymore. Got burned out on it but when I did 1 hour early was typical. I have been known to get in the stand extremely early if trying to fool a big buck if I had been having close encounters. Like 1 AM early.

If I'm hunting close to the food source, I want to be in my stand and settled while it's still pitch black. If it's a travel lane or escape route I want to be there by legal shooting cause I figure it'll usually be a while before I get much action although I've had other hunters bump deer past me as they headed to their stands in gray light too.
30-40 minutes before sun up
I go in about a half hour before sunrise so I can hunt my way in. Been deer hunting for 47 years and harvested most bucks between 9:30 and 10:30 am and just at last shooting light. Most of the deer in the morning are where neighboring hunters get down out of their stands. In my younger years I could sit there all day but now I don't put in as much effort as there are more deer than when I started hunting. I have also done my own processing all these years and it has become a chore. My wife will not eat any deer meat from the processor, you don't get your deer back most places around here.
