    522D

Noticed its not on the website. Has it been discontinued? This was my dream rig. Guess ill be looking for used but with only 3 manufacturing yrs it might be tough.

Possibly a long shot, but ask Steve at Knox Marine. They sold a few of the 522D and might know of a current owner who is thinking of changing rigs. Availability will be like hen’s teeth, however, so you’d have to have your checkbook in hand when one is located.

Any of you guys on the great lakes wish you had a 522D over your 520C or 521C?
521C is my alternate if the 522D hunt doesnt work out

I never feel cramped in 521 dual console, and I fish team or draw exclusively...That 522D is a beast of a boat...I doubt you would ever feel cramped by a dual console. If you really want one, you should at least take a look at those duals.

I came from a 520 into the Z522D and the ride is night and day difference on big water. It handles the big water with no problem at all for me.

I also have a friend that just traded in his Z522 and purchased a Z522D and he also said the ride was much better in big water.

I have the dual console and there is plenty of room to move around with 2 guys.

If I lived up north around the Great Lakes, I would have bought a Z522D...

Just spoke with Mike Safreed at Dixie Marine in Fairfield, OH last week. He said the same thing... Just have to ask him I guess...?

Ranger must have a timetable for taking that mold offline. It has to cost them a fair chunk of extra change to set up to run just one boat. Be nice for the guys who want one if they get a last chance to pull the trigger, however.

Not trying to start a fight here here, but if you can't get a 522 Ranger, the Basscat Jaguar is a huge boat as well.

Thanks but I dont think there is a boat of any brand out there that will compare to a 522D. Maybe in length and width but nothing else has a walleye/ multispecies hull and bass boat cap except lund but i wouldnt put the 2 in the same class
