Where in Central/Eastern Tennessee should I take my teenage son in October?

We’re looking for good bass numbers and lots of opportunities to catch other species like white bass and stripers in particular. Was thinking Cherokee Lake but after further research, I think Chick or Watts Bar might be better choices. Any thoughts or advice?

I probably wouldn't do Cherokee, it can be off and on but most can. If you want to stay in that area i would choose Douglas for numbers of fish, with the occasional kicker. Also have the advantage of Gatlinburg / Pigeon Forge if things get really slow. Good luck!!

If it will cool off some, it will be great. Good luck.
