New PB smallmouth any guesses on weight ?

Last night I caught my new personal best smallmouth. I went to weigh it and the battery in my scales was dead. My buddy is a very experienced tourney angler and we both guessed betwen 5 1/2-6 lbs. What do you guys think. I'm a big guy about 6' 300 lbs for perspective.

Without a length measurement, it’s hard to guess. But, I’d say 5 1/2 is pretty close.

Good smallie. With that build, I'd expect maybe 22"-24" to be in that weight range.

Thanks everyone. Forgot to add this was the first fish I caught on my new Dobyns Fury 703C rod. This is my first Dobyns and I am really impressed with it. Will be my go to spinnerbait rod from now on most likely. Also doesn't hurt that I caught it on a spinnerbait I poured, painted, and made the skirt.

Basscaster I got her about 30 minutes after dark last night. Pickwick lake and about 6' of water. Bait was my own 5/8oz with a purple/red skirt and a single #5 colorado blade. There was a tree laying down from the bank and as my spinnerbait got to the end she smacked it. Probably 20 or so feet from the boat. I didn't realize how big it was until I got it to the boat. She never jumped and since I use 50 lb braid with a 20 lb flourocarbon leader I horsed her pretty quickly. Once I saw her at the side of the boat I kinda panicked and just flipped her in the boat without thinking.
