Two John Lennon songs. (1) ”Imagine.” It’s a socialistic fantasy. (2) The Ballad of John and Yoko. He takes Jesus’ name in vain.

Cocaine is anti-drug but no one listens to the lyrics. The one song that gets a lot of radio time on classic rock stations that’s highly offensive is brown sugar by the Stones. It covers rape, slavery, heroin, cunnilingus, and racism all in 3 about minutes. The original name of the song was black p***y but even Mick Jagger knew that was too far.

Hearing a song has never made me want to do cocaine, shoot up a school, worship the devil, dismember anyone or kill anyone.

Hell most country music is about drinking, cheating, raising hell.

    The Kinks Lola... Dan

Met her in a club down in North Soho
Where you drink champagne and it tastes just like cherry cola
    C-O-L-A cola

She walked up to me and she asked me to dance
I asked her name and in a dark brown voice she said, "Lola"
L-O-L-A Lola, lo lo lo lo Lola

Well, I'm not the world's most physical guy
But when she squeezed me tight she nearly broke my spine
Oh my Lola, lo lo lo lo Lola

Well, I'm not dumb but I can't understand
Why she walk like a woman and talk like a man
Oh my Lola, lo lo lo lo Lola, lo lo lo lo Lola

Well, we drank champagne and danced all night
    Under electric candlelight
She picked me up and sat me on her knee
And said, "Little boy won't you come home with me?"

Well, I'm not the world's most passionate guy
But when I looked in her eyes
    Well, I…

Sounds like a scene from Crocodile Dundee!

Baby It’s Cold Outside - the Christmas tune. It depicts date rape

So does about 3/4 of the current "baby climb up in my truck and go get moonshine drunk on a back road" crop of "country" songs.

That covers about 50% of the last couple years...

The Florida State tomahawk thing! Like nails on a chalk board. Would you stop it already. Maybe after a TD or at the start of a b-ball game. But every five minutes? C’mon man, you’re killing me. I’m so glad they’re not my team.

Can't listen to Bruce Springsteen at all. I hate rap, any rap. I also hate new country. If I had to pick a song that shouldn't be on the radio, I guess it would have to be Truffle Butter by Nicki Minaj. Look up Truffle Butter in the Urban Dictionary.

But then again, I don't let lyrics from songs dictate my actions.
