    Hydrotech vs Nizpro ECU flash

I saw the Nizpro SHO flash dyno shows 332 propshaft hp @5500 RPMs, but there’s a drop in hp from 5500-6000. Anyone know how it compares to the Hydrotech flash (crank dyno)?

There was a dyno sheet photo on here at one time. I know it had a pretty flat line from 5-6k then started climbing again. I dont remember what the hp numbers were

Just wondering the difference between the 2 flashes as well. The kit from Austrailia has 332hp. Hydrotech 325hp listed. Small difference. Just wondering if anyone had a preference?

If I were flashing, it would be Hydrotech for sure. They have a proven track record with Yamaha.

Yes, I spoke with Wayne and Ben. ECU Overnited to them. Can't wait. Happy to support them. I will keep you posted on the results. Can't thank this board enough for the guidance.

Hell that's not as bad as I thought it would be. Not doing any motor upgrades are you?

customer service, was awesome, counseled me with jack plate adjustment with current prop. Then advised on a larger diameter.
    I had a factory installed reliance 21t 13 3/4. Gave me 5400 wot, 53mph max.
hydrotech bumped me up to a 21t 15” which before flash gave me 5250 and 52mph max.
then they flashed my 2021 vf200xa sho…..and tonite I found out what happens when the engine is programmed for what it can do.
I am still shocked. My first run I hit 66mph, and rpms flew by 6300 with rooster tail 1 foot over cowl. So I lowered the jack plate an inch, which then kept my rpms maxed at 6150. And top speed of 65. With rooster tail almost 2 feet below cowl. The boat jumps out of the hole, she also goes from on plane to 50, instantly at 4400ish rpms. , the boat now feels like an uncaged beast, the sound of her from hole shot through 50, is loud and ripping, not quiet to loud, just hammer it and she goes. I imagine I could prop up to hit 70, but man she flies out of the hole, all the way to 65. For a 20ft dvx19 Venus walleye boat, that’s nuts to me.

Steve Glenn at S2 Marine does the Nizpro flash. I ran both flashes back to back and the Nizpro performed better on my setup. Steve’s customer service is first class as well.

Hydrotec's flash dyno's between 350-360hp at the crank. gained easily 15mph with their flash. Fished at 75 or so with a 200, 92-93 with HT flash

I had my 250 SHO flashed by Hypertech recently, Max speed remained the same but holeshot and mid-range are awesome!
