I have a 2000 21 Stratos SS extreme. I have a 2004 Evinrude direct-injection 250. Prop shaft the pad is 3.5. I'm running a razor 26. The holeshot is good. I've only pushed the boat to 5200 RPMs at 53 mph. It has a lot more left . At this time, I am trimmed up and throwing a roostertail that's 15+ ft in the air. I'm reading 12 pounds of water pressure.
Haven't driven Full Throttle yet because I've had two major engine issues this year and im trying to build confidence in this new to me motor.
My old engine was a 2000 200 Evinrude ficht. I ran it at 5.5 Below to pad. Never had a roostertail that was over the cowling.
It seems that this new engine and prop set up needs to be run at less than full trim.
The boat handles well, has good lift, very drivable.
Any suggestions? Thanks for your help.
