Hey guys I just picked up a new to me 2000 cobra 201d with a 2000 Optimax 225 and a 8 inch jack plate. I haven’t used it yet but it’s looks and feels like a very nice boat that I am proud to own. What are you guys running for a set up like prop and prop to pad height and what kinda of performance am I looking to get. Thanks for any help

Welcome to the club. I run my 225EFI at 3 1/4" under pad with a Fury 25pitch 3 blade 10"jackplate. Not getting the rpms I want right now, so going to a 24pitch 4 blade soon. Will run 68 and 5600rpm with half a tank of gas and two people.
Thank you sir glad to be here if mine will run that ill be very happy with it i came out of a charger and it rides nice but is not a fast boat at all so 68 will be plenty good for me

I have a 99 201D with a 225 opti, I run a 25p tempest plus and get 67-68 loaded with 2 people, also run a 24 fury3 in the summer and get prob 66-67 loaded
