I will have my grandsons at Grand this weekend for dove hunting and some fishing.
We are staying at Candlewyck in HoneyCreek.
Any reports on white bass or crappie in the area to take these kids would be appreciated.
We may haul it to Eucha if its no Bueno on Grand.

White bass have been surfacing almost every night around Snake, Bad and Weed Islands. Crappie...scan docks over 20 to 30 ft of water till u see them on sidescan. When u find em...u find a large number of them.

Last time I was out that way they had it gated off. Someone told me a developer had bought it to build high end houses around. Not sure what was going on that was years ago.

I fished Konawa regularly this past spring and had several very good days there, biggest fish caught was 5.4 pounds on a morning when i caught six or seven all plus 2.5 lb on a jig with a craw trailer. I don't like fishing so much when the grass starts to pile up as much.
