How does the Z20 perform in rough water? The Z20 is 6" - 8" shorter than a lot of other brands 20 footers so wondering if it being a little shorter is noticed in rough water performance?

Every inch can be noticeable, on similar hulls the longer hull will always ride better.

The 2019 z20 hull is so much better then a 2018 z21.The changes nitro made in 2019 are crazy good. We were in 2 foot white caps this weekend in the z20 running 68mph and the ride was great way better then a z21 and we have both boats.Hope they put the same bottom on the z21 for 2020 because if they do look out it will be awsome also.

What changes did they make, I do feel like my 2019 z21 rides better. But that may just be I have not experienced what my last boat did.

    I haven't seen any change from my 2018 to 2019 Z21 I just got.

The word I got was they only changed the 2019 z20 bottom. Looking at the boats side by side it is substantial. If I get a chance I will try to post some pics or maybe someone from nitro can chime in.All I can say is after riding in the z20 I hate to get in the 21 but don't get me wrong I still like any nitro.

The 2019 Z20 is narrower and the deck layout is slightly changed versus the 2018.

Guess I need to ride in a Z20. I do feel like they tweaked something in the z21 cause the ride does seem better, holeshot is even better(Merc). My 2019 requires no input at speed.

Isn't the deck bigger on the 2019? i.e. more square foot than the 2018 z20?
