    998 and Mega Ducer

Ok, so ive got my Helix 10 mega si and 998c HD si on the bow now. At the moment theyre sharing the 998s transducer, XHS 9 HDSI 180 T. I just got a mount for the Mega ducer to fit on the trolling motor. Is it possible for the 998c HD si to read the Mega transducer, the XM 9 20 MSI T? Obviously I won't get mega images but can it read 455 and 800khz from that transducer? Thanks.

Yes, just need to change your network settings on the 998. Correct, the 998 can't share the MEGA or CHIRP but can share basic frequencies 455/800khz, 83/200khz

Good to know. Where did you find that compatibility chart? Thanks

It can be found under FAQs on the humminbird website (Support - FAQs - Networking - "What type of sonar information is shared with ethernet")
