    Dallas bound in the morning.

Taking Peyton for his appointment at the Scottish Hospital Tuesday morning to find out what they are going to do about his spine. We are almost certain it's going to be surgery but will find out for sure Tuesday. Headed out tomorrow and meet up with my brothers for dinner tomorrow night. That this Dr appointment goes well.

When my son was little, he went to Scottish Rite and had spine surgery there. You are in the best hands to be found anywhere. If you have questions let me know. I’m sure my son would be willing to talk to you and your son as well. He’s 21 now.

Thank you sir, I've heard it's the best place for kids and have the most confidence in them. I may get in touch with you after Tuesday, I'll know a whole lot more that morning

Well they put off surgery until he's done growing, check ups every six months. There is the mid back area and now the neck area. The Drs said if they do the surgery now it would be very difficult on them and him and high percentage that it may be unsuccessful and do more damage to his spinal cord. Have confidence in their assessment but still not for sure how to handle all of this stuff.

On another note, that hospital is an amazing place. Staff is most personable people I've dealt with. It's truly eye opening when seeing all those kids with health problems, made me realize how blessed we were to have healthy kids and how difficult some families have it. Also noticed all of them had smiles on their faces, making the best out of a bad situation.

I'm sure the docs are making the right decision. Sure sounds logical.

Best to not touch it if it don't need touching.
    Sounds like good news.
Never know, he may truck right along without ever needing any medical attention.

Cliff, I agree with the Drs 100

Cork you could be right, anything is possible. I asked that question and they said no, he will require it when the time is right after he's done growing. He's in some pain and that bothers me a lot, it does come and go and doesn't get him down but it does bother him. I'll leave it up to God in how all this goes.
