Be careful calling someone a lair or you end up eating crow...this was one person, 25 gallons fuel, full tourney gear, no poles, cool weather run. Flashed SHO at 6200 limiter, Lithium Pro's, and Bravo 1 XS 28..

I'm still trying to decide what to do...the XRS isn't much, if any faster than I am...so looking into RDS, Sst, or SS now..just trying to find them so I can crawl around in them and compare layouts.

Thats moving , what kind of boat is that on? All I see is a gps ... is it a Phoniex? Or XRS ?

This was in his Phoenix. Originally a 250 Yamaha but he had it flashed so the 81 is numbers he is getting which is probably closer to 300hp. This is my understanding

Bullet Fan is correct - 77-78 was best I could do with the SHO before the flash and Lithuim Pro's. Sorry for bad video..took it one handed with iphone while driving boat so it wasn't the best..I visited with Wayne this morning, and we got a few more tricks we are going to do in the next week or so. I believe we can get the boat into the upper 80's with what we have planned...I'll post up results..

Put that effort into a bullet and the speed will be a good bit better I have to beleave. My experience is from a 20 XD w/ 300 DBR. And now a 21SST w/ stock 300. I've been around and in bullet boats for almost 25 years and would not have anything else. Allison would be my other choice but I just like the look of bullets

You can drive a boat one hand on the wheel the other on a phone taking a video without loosing site of the gps and get the max speed out of your boat ? Your one damm good driver I know I need two hands on the wheel running on a pad for sure.

Had a mount rigged up to hold phone, but had to hold mount steady or it'd vibrate all over the place. Once I learned to drive the PHX, it an easy boat to drive at speed. The chine is kind of the nose "hunting" and nice you get the feel for it, it's not bad at all.

Well my 21SS Bullet will smoke any phoniex bird boat. Plus it looks 10 times better

21SS 250sho combo. I’ve seen 87mph solo with rods on deck. The only thing the pheniex does better is it may fish a little better. A little!!!! Plus I get way better gas milage and can run 70mph at 4900rpms. So get outta gear with the bird boat lol

Response to the Allison's not fishing well. FALSE I fish out of a real nice one quite a bit. With TB21 they fish great and ride wonderfully.

Bradley I’m not wanting to start a fight but I had a 21ss and I can promise you bud my 920 Phoenix fishes 100 times better and handles good also. And just to state facts my username used to be sweetbullet and I had the orange and black boat with a DBR 300XS on it and I ran it up to 97.8. My current setup has seen 81.4 in the cooler months loaded.

When you say loaded you mean 1 or 2 people? Full tank of gas 1/2 tank? I’d say the only way you saw 81.whatever mph is with 1 person in boat 1/4 tank of fuel and your fishing tackle. I’d say on average day tournament day your running no more than 75mph at best.

O yeah make sure you check for stress cracks and hull blisters on that Phoenix

Also describe how it fishes better? Better storage? better stability? My 21SS fishes great with 2 people. Also o love the high nose of the bullet for flipping and throwing under docks . Not trying to start a fight either.

just don’t come here on the Bullet board and tell me a Phoenix is a Better boat than a Bullet because it is not a better boat. It may fish better . But it’s not better than a Bullet.

also Birdboy I went and googled 920 speeds and you replied in a post that your 81mph run was with a LIGHT LOAD and no poles. Don’t get on here and tells lies!

Also from what I’ve heard the Allison XB-21 is on top of the food chain when it comes to Bass boats. They look good too
