Thumbs Up Results of August NoAl tournament at Little Bear Creek

The August NoAl tournament was held today at Little Bear Creek Reservoir. We had a number of showers throughout the morning which managed to keep the temperatures pretty reasonable for August. Even though several of us managed to weigh in a small limit, the bite was incredibly tough for the most part. At any rate, Mike Lolley and Blake Gilbreath came in first with a limit weighing 8.12 pounds, and Harry Speegle took big fish honors with a real nice 3.43 pound largemouth. John Scogin ended up in second place with four fish weighing a total of 7.24 pounds, anchored by a real nice spotted bass weighing 2.85 pounds.

Next month’s tournament will be on Smith Lake out of the ramp by the dam on the 15th of September, so look for a sign up thread in the next couple of days. Thanks again to everyone who participated in this months event and I look forward to seeing everyone again next month!!
