    Ox66 tach signal

    I just got my motor back together from putting an exhaust tuner on it. Everything seems to be running perfect other than I'm losing tach signal. When I got 2k rpm it falls to 0. Motor runs great, just don't know how many rpms I'm running. I think it was working prior to pulling the power head. Anyone have any ideas? I'm guessing it gets the tach signal through the 10 pin connector?

    Yes, the tachometer signal is carried to the dash by the green wire in the ten pin harness. From there it travels via another green wire in a smaller harness. In a standard Yamaha configuration anyway.
