I guess if you have a stake in the fishing industry you would have to be concerned about alienating potential customers, But has a true fan of the sport, It would be great. I'm not talking just a tour for the 3 legends, Couldn't buy your way in. Invite only...45 -50 min age

    This is going sideways quickly.

Do you know that anyone asked for one?

For all we know this is about DB retiring .

If anyone has any real information, I'm all ears but I haven't heard anything I believe yet. I almost texted an Elite Series angler last night, then gave my head a shake and realized that that would be a stupid question to ask at this point. Leave them to do their jobs and try to make a living, then if there is any there, there we will find out soon enough.

None of the 80 anglers could keep their sponsors. All of the that sponsorship money would go to the trail. So say 80 x $70,000 = $5,600,000. Very, doable plus paying bonuses to the top finishers of the events. $3,000,000 is pocket change to BPS and TV networks.

Would KVD give up his sponsor portfolio for $100k?

And why would a company just give the money to ole Johnny. Your proposal makes zero sense.

If they can't keep their sponsors, I don't grasp how their now non sponsor dollars are going to go into the pot?

If that's the case, I guess Socialism has made it all the way down to Bass Tournament fishing.

Sounds like our Tuesday tournament. And, you young whiper snappers need to show more respect for us elders.

It'll happen, as well as the post about once somebody fishes one they should never be allowed to EVER fish a local, BFL etc.

JM probably sponsor’s them already. He owns 75% of the fishing industry already. If he was to start his own tournament trail, the government would step in to break up the monopoly.

Rumor was top 25 in AOY standings from each pro tour, 25 from BASS 25 from FLW, if any angler declines they work down the list.

The FLW cup is going to be an interesting show since the winner who started in 10th place didn't have a camera until he starting catching big fish.
They have GoPros all over their boats so I'm sure they won't miss much from Davis's day
