    Question Plastic Oxidation

What’s the best product or application to remove oxidation on black plastic?

None of them. I've tried a bunch with good initial results but wore off fast. I painted a few pieces with that plastic spray paint. I believe it was 2X. So far, so good.

I saw a couple videos on YouTube using half Linseed oil and half paint thinner and the results looked good, but I’m not sure about long term

Try mothers back to black, I put it on a little thick and let it soak in for a while.

Heat it with a heat gun. It will turn back.

Watched a few engine detailing vids yesterday. Trim restore seemed to work like magic.

My sanding comment is directed to the motor hood itself only...
