Helix G2N GPS sonar blacking out

My little-more-than-a-year old Helix 10 G2N GPS started acting funny yesterday by randomly shutting off.
Its 2 big brothers Helix 10 SI and Helix 12 SI were doing fine, so votage or battery wasn't the problem.
I thought maybe heat was the issue since these AZ afternoons run in the 110+ deg range.
Got home and on the charger it was still acting the same way, would shutdown after being on less than an hour.
Reset defaults and now she stayed on along side the Helix 10SI for several hours.
What gives with these things?
I'll test again next time on the water but I'm anticipating it will make a trip to Alabama soon on my dime.

Both my 10's are the same age. The 10 SI unit was repaired last month under warranty with a board replacement because SI went out.
Both 10's exhibited squiggly/wavy pixels since day one but the SI hasn't had that since being returned from repair.

Bummer. Doesn't sound like a power problem. If the pixel problem is similar between the two, then sounds like a similar repair needed. Haven't heard of any heat related problems with those symptoms. Similar heat here and they keep on ticking and probably harder on me then the units...LOL

Update, no issues out on the water last evening since resetting defaults.
Will see how things go during a full hot day.
