    TRAILER TIRE PRESSURE MONITORS

    I have a set of these i need to install on my 5th wheel. Has anyone out there installed on their boat trailer?
    Did they work or did water get past any seal and break them??

    I use the Dill system....they are mounted on inside of tire.

    I don't have them, but can't see water intrusion being a huge issue. If there is 50PSI of air pressure pushing "out", water would have a darn tough time getting "in".

    Do you have the ones inside the tires or the ones that screw on to the outside valve?
    Also, do you use a repeater antenna?
    I have another brand with the external caps and they sometimes have trouble reaching the signal up to my dashboard. But I wonder how much trouble the repeater is? Do I have to remove it when I launch my boat?

    I had some trouble with my 5th wheel monitors reaching the controller in the cab. Ended up putting a booster in the battery compartment of the 5 th wheel. No problems since.
    There’s no use being stupid if you’re not willing to show it off.
