2013 pro team 175txw prop 25hp four stroke

Trying to set this up for a buddy. His came with an aluminum prop but we're trying to find a stainless. What pitch is everyone running?

This is just a guess (no actual experience with that boat) - but I would think a 12 pitch +/- would be close.

I would recommend not wasting the money on a SS prop for that rig. Aluminum will do you just fine.

I would agree. I wouldn’t think you’d want to spin the extra weight of SS plus to get that motor into the upper rpm range you want any bit of flex aluminum will give.

DO NOT waste your money on stainless! You will get NO performance gain, and possibly worse.

I owned an xpress 17 foot bassboat with a 2-stroke Mercury 25 horsepower, and I ran a 10.38 x 13 pitch mercury three blade aluminum prop. I got around 25 miles per hour GPS alone, and around 22 miles per hour GPS with another person in boat
