Now at least two people have heard of him.
I knew of Rory Gallagher already. Also know that he's dead. Booze and liver failure, IF I remember correctly, about 1995 or so. Sad, as he was a REALLY good Blues artist.
Irish Tour is one of the best live albums ever.
Don't worry Ma'am....
I'm only here for the Bass.
Rory is a freaking blues guitar legend. If you haven’t heard of Rory then you don’t know blues.
So basic yet so advanced. You just don't have this in mainstream anymore. Real music.
I remember seeing this cat in the early 90s around Memphis and he tore my head off that night. He's only 17 in this video. And yeah, that's an upside down right hand Strat that is still strung like a right hander. His older brother played bass the same way. It was crazy to see.
Rory, never heard of? He’s listed in Rolling Stones top 50 of all time I believe as voted by his peers. He used to play beggars banquet in Louisville about one weekend a month in the early seventies! Tore the place up!!
Matt Stanley. 20 years old out of the East coast. YouTube him, you'll be amazed.
I'm not dead yet.....competition is the life blood of any human being

I've heard of him.
Had one of his albums in the late 70s. Didnt listen to it enough. He was one of those guys like Johnny Winters where they would describe their playing as if the artist and the instrument were one. Totally immersed.
