    Thoughts on a clean 96 171 DC?

    Hello everyone. I'm posting to get anyone's thoughts on a 1996 Champion 171DC. Appears to be clean and all. Just has a bad motor. I'm mostly concerned with the boats reputation and how sturdy they are? I was burned by Nitros BS fiberglass and am looking at transplanting my equipment to what appears to be a clean 96 171DC. Thanks for any insight.

    Do a FULL check over of the transom, deck and hull. Coming out of a Nitro the performance will be night and day.
