    Ultrex scratch repair

When you guys scratch up your trolling motor on a rock, what do you use to repair it? Black spray paint, truck bed line-x, etc?

You should see my prop on my ultrex. It looks like it's been through a war along with the skeg.. keep on fishing

If you fish shallow water anything you fix will just come back off again. i used a sharpie to color in my skeg of the trolling motor but it did not last long

Anyone ever use Rust-Oleum truck bed spray? You would have to be careful to tape off certain areas so you could have it repaired/disassembled if needed...but they sell an aerosol can for $8 at HDepot that looks interesting.

If you don't have any scratches, "battle scars" on your trolling motor, then you're missing out on a bunch of fish !!! My Ultrex is also scratched on the HEAD from fishing vertical structure too !!!

The Rustoleum truck bed spray worked well and looks good. Just make sure to spray the entire area so it all matches. Mask off the gap between the prop in case you need to have it repaired one day.
