Ranger has used the 1.77 for a coons age. What year is your boat and .023 wear is not out of the question.

Get a 1.77 and put a couple wraps of tape around it and you will be good to go. I had to do that with a TH Marine plug I put in my boat.

My 620vs uses the springfield 2.375 diameter series, and as mentioned I wrap tape around 1.77 plug. Could not find plug for 2.375 series post.

They have solid rubber ones in the pull out drawers at Lowe's and Home Depot, very durable, about all sizes. I use those for all kinds of applications including what you want it for.

I have the BOB's aluminum plugs for my Ranger. It's the 1.77 and has an oring on the bottom. Works good, got mine from Hydrilla gear, Rich knows the one you need for your Ranger
